ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BAF PROGRAMME
Programme Title: Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF).
Duration: 3 Years.
Field of Study: Accounting and Finance
Academic Unit: Business Studies (SAUT Arusha Centre).
Competency: Graduates of BAF will be able to take responsibility for their areas of specialization to prepare them to be professionals in areas of Business, Accounting, Fianance and Business Administration.
Entry Requirements:
i) Holders of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E) with at least two principal passes, which make a sum of 4 points or more in appropriate subjects at the same sitting. The points are based on the following scale: A=5, B=4, C =3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0. If one of the passess do not include Advanced Mathematics an applicant must have a minimum of a "D" grade in a pass in Basic Mathematics, or Commerce or Book-keeping at O level is required.
ii) Candidates must hold a Diploma in Business Administration, Accountancy, Marketing Social Studies, Economics Studies, Industrial Relations, Public Sector Finance Management, Education with major in Mathematics, Information Technology with Accounting and Human Resource Management, Financial Administration, Local Government Accounting and Finance, Insurance and Risk Management, Customs and Tax Management, Freight Clearing and Fowarding, Statistics, Business Management, Procurement and Logistics Management, or Banking and Finance, Procurement and Supplies Management, Banking and Fiance with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BSCT PROGRAMME
Programme Title: Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management (BScT).
Duration: 3 Years.
Field of Study: Tourism and Hospitality.
Academic Unit: Department of Tourism (SAUT Arusha Centre).
Competency: Graduates of BScT will be able to take responsibility for their areas of specialization to prepare them to be professionals in both, Tourism and Hospitality.
Entry Requirements:
i) Holders of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E) with at least two principal passes, which make a sum of 4 points or more in appropriate subjects at the same sitting. The points are based on the following scale: A=5, B=4, C =3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0.
ii) Candidates must hold a Diploma in Diploma in Cultural Heritage Management and Tour Guidance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Travel and Tourism, Tour Guiding Operations, Wildlife Tourism, Wildlife Management, Tourism Planning and Management, Leisure and Tourism Studies, Marketing, Business Administration or Forest Management and Nature Conservation with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BAED PROGRAMME
Programme Title: Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAED).
Duration: 3 Years.
Field of Study: Education.
Academic Unit: Department of Education (SAUT Arusha Centre).
Competency: This programme intends to give students the foundations of education. The areas of specialization are: History, Geography, English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Economics, and Literature.
Entry Requirements:
i) Holders of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E) with at least two principal passes, which make a sum of 4 points or more in appropriate subjects at the same sitting. The points are based on the following scale: A=5, B=4, C =3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0.
ii) Diploma in Education with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Arts Cluster
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR LLB PROGRAMME
Programme Title: Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Duration: 4 Years.
Field of Study: Law.
Academic Unit: Department of Law (SAUT Arusha Centre).
Competency: Graduates of LLB will be well equiped with Law related skills in terms of knowledge and practice.
Entry Requirements:
i) Holders of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E) with at least two principal passes, which make a sum of 4 points or more in appropriate subjects at the same sitting. The points are based on the following scale: A=5, B=4, C =3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0 If one of the principals is not English an applicant must have a minimum of “C” grade in English at O- Level or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
ii) Diploma in Law or Law Enforcement with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Arts Cluster.
